The grant will cover the start-up costs of a recycling center, which would most likely be located in Cranberry Township/Seneca area. In March, the Venango County Commissioners approved a request from the Venango County Planning Commission to apply for the grant. The announcement of the $345,502.00 grant was made as part of a state-wide release issued Friday afternoon by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
